Feed rules, version 1
The promise: every week, the three most-upvoted eligible suggestions get built. No negotiation.
How a round works
- A round runs from Monday 00:00 UTC to the next Monday 00:00 UTC.
- A suggestion belongs to the round that is open when you post it. It can only be voted on during that round. If it doesn't win, you can post it again next round.
- You get one upvote per suggestion. You can take it back any time before the deadline. You can't upvote your own suggestion.
- At the deadline the results are frozen automatically. The top three eligible suggestions with at least one counted vote become roadmap items. There is no approval step. If fewer than three eligible suggestions have counted votes, only those are selected.
- Ties go to the suggestion posted first. If it's still a tie, the lower post number wins.
Which votes count
Wallets aren't people, so these rules make fake votes expensive. A vote counts if, at the deadline:
- it was still active (cast before the deadline and not taken back);
- the voter's Feed account is at least 24 hours old;
- the voter's wallet passed the wallet check: its first transaction on Solana is at least 7 days old, and it held at least 0.05 SOL when checked (Feed looks through the wallet's 10,000 most recent transactions; a wallet busier than that in the last 7 days can't be confirmed, so its votes don't count);
- the voter isn't banned or flagged by a moderator as a duplicate account (flags are public);
- for each suggestion, at most 3 votes from the same network connection count (the earliest ones).
Votes that don't count are still shown, marked "not counted", with the reason.
What can be excluded, and why
Suggestions have to be about making Feed better. Moderators can exclude a suggestion only by citing one of these rules and writing a specific reason. Every exclusion is public.
| Code | Rule |
|---|---|
| E1 Product | It must be about Feed itself: features, pages, tools, design, launch options, the data shown. Requests for money, listings, promotions, giveaways or launching someone's token aren't product suggestions. |
| E2 Possible | It must be technically possible with Feed's integrations (StonkFun, Raydium LaunchLab, Jupiter, Solana). For example, on-chain trading rules like "max per wallet" can't be added to LaunchLab coins. |
| E3 Privacy | It must not expose private data or identify anyone. |
| E4 Funds safety | It must not put anyone's funds or keys at risk, or make Feed hold users' funds. |
| E5 Third parties | It must not depend on something a third party doesn't offer (for example a StonkFun feature that's switched off). |
| E6 Duplicate | Already shipped, or already selected and still on the roadmap (the exclusion links it). |
| E7 Content | Spam, abuse or scams. |
Disliking a suggestion is not a reason. If a winning suggestion has to be excluded after the deadline, the next suggestion in the frozen ranking takes its place, and the exclusion is published with its reason.
After a suggestion wins
- It becomes a roadmap item with acceptance criteria and a target date 7 days after the deadline.
- Progress is public: Selected → Building → Testing → Shipped, or Blocked with an explanation and milestones.
- A vote picks what gets built. Building it still takes real work and testing, so nothing goes live untested.
- When it ships, it appears in the changelog with a link back to the original suggestion.
Keeping it honest
- A suggestion's text is locked once it gets its first vote. Every edit before that is kept in a public history. The winning text is frozen and fingerprinted (SHA-256).
- These rules can only change for future rounds. Every version stays published with what changed.
- Every moderation action, exclusion and rule change is listed on the transparency page.
